With the country in constant growth, autonomous truckers have been gaining space in the road transport segment, mainly due to their low cost and negotiation flexibility. About 60% of freight transport in the country is handled by self-employed truckers.
This Monday (30), the Traffic and Transportation Commission of the Chamber of Deputies promoted a seminar to discuss the situation of autonomous freight road transport in Brazil.
This seminar initiative was conceived by Deputy Gonzaga Patriota de (PSB-PE) and will be held in Plenary 11 of the National Confederation of Autonomous Transporters (CNTA).
60% of the transport is carried out by autonomous truckers
According to Gonzaga, about 60% of the movement of goods and merchandise in the country is the responsibility of self-employed truckers.
Scheduled for 9:00 am this Monday (30) the event / seminar will have the participation, in addition to Gonzaga Patriota, Arthur Lira, president of the Chamber of (PP-AL), Carlos Chiodini, president of the committee (MDB) . -SC), by Marcello da Costa Vieira, national secretary of Land Transport of the Ministry of Infrastructure, and by Diumar Bueno, president of the CNTA.

From 10 am to 1 pm there will be a panel on “Direct hiring of self-employed truckers.”
This issue will be debated by the deputies and by Luiz Henrique Baldez, executive director of the National Association of Freight Transport Users, Daniel Carvalho, national coordinator of the Project Tax Documents of Transport and Taxation of the State of the Department of Finance of Mato Grosso do Sul , Alziro. da Mota Santos Filho, legal advisor to the CNTA, and Gabriel Valderrama, Project Coordinator of the Executive Secretariat of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
